Come celebrate Koivikko Nordic with Karelia Fest on November 13th 2021. Eat Karjalan Piiraka(Karelian Pasties), Pulla, and Cookies. As well as walk the trails, and roller ski with Friends. Hope to See you there. 

Happy Spring

Hello! 
Once again Spring has come and the Trails are closed. The swamps and creeks have opened up. There are no board walks on the Trails so we ask you to stay off them for now. This summer we are planning on cutting and clearing more trails. Next fall our goal is to do a wilderness running race on the trails when they are drier and there isn’t any foliage. Hope to see you there! 

All trails Packed 2/14/20

 Most Trails were Snowshoed in last Sunday. it looks like we got about 4" of snow and most trails are not snowshoed in. Currently The Meadow, Canyon, Pohantähti and Kuusen Maatila loops are Open and easily spotted.  stay off of Closed loops please. and see you out Skiing. 

Koivikko Trail Maintenance Week!

 Hello Pocket Valley Skiers! This Next Week is dedicated to Trail Maintenance on the Koivikko Trails. Those of you who know the Trails lead the way and clear them Those who don't Follow behind! Looking at the Trails, The Leppä, High Point, Canyon, and Harjusuola loops are in serious need of clearing so please stay off those. The Pohantähti Loop has a spruce tree Down on it so Clearing that will be a hassle. Other than that the rest of the Trails need to be Cleared of Eyepokers and other debris.
